Bomb Busters Insert, Organizer, and Drop-In Replacement Upgraded Wire Stands
Please support iamrobertv by Liking/Boosting their Print on Printables.
NOTICE: Please know this may evolve as I unlock more missions in the game.
NOTICE 2: Because of how tight the tolerances are on the upgraded wire holders, you need to make sure they are nice and flat. If they are curved/bent, they will not sit properly. If yours are bent (because you pulled them off the bed hot, or if they didn't stick to the bed properly) simply bend them gently so they are straight.
• Upgraded wire holders with letters to make identifying individual wires easier.
• Dedicated storage for cards. Sleeve friendly!
• Quick setup/storage tray for all base game wires.
• Quick setup/storage tray for base game indicator tiles, red/yellow pegs, and green completion indicators.
• “Other” trays to store items as additional components are unlocked.
These trays are sized very carefully to fit in place of the base game trays. If you wanted to use nothing else beside the upgraded trays, they will slip right into the existing storage slot for them without printing the rest of the insert.
The trays have letters to make indicating which wire you'd like to snip a bit easier. The back of each tray also has a small indent so that you can place snipped wires and indicators there.
I didn't add indents to each slot on the front side because it makes sliding the tiles around during setup impossible.
Nothing particularly special about these trays except that I pretty much take them out and place them directly on the board. It has really sped up setup and tear down of the game.
During gameplay, it makes placing “completed wire” indicators, hint indicators, and red/yellow pegs easy.
Because I am still only part way through the game, I am simply hoping that this card tray will eventually fit all cards in the game. I may make card separators later down the line, but for now this will store all cards whether sleeved or un-sleeved.
I'm only part way through the game, so I don't know what a “complete” insert looks like yet. I will do my best to update this insert as I make progress.
As of Feb 13, 2025, the insert has some sort of storage option (even if it uses the “other” tray) for everything through mission 30.
• wire_tray x 1
• marker_tray x 1
• wire_console_base x 5
• wire_console_back x 5
• card_tray x1
• misc_tray x 2
• misc_tray_side x 1
• wire_tray : Tray to hold the base game blue wires, yellow wires, and red wires.
• marker_tray : Tray to hold base game indicator tiles, red/yellow pegs, and green “completed” indicators.
• wire_console_base : The base component of the upgraded trays. Sits flat on the table and has a slot to insert wire_console_back . Has rounded corners that go up. Sharp/flat corners go down. MAKE SURE THIS IS FLAT OR THE wire_console_back WILL POP OUT.
• wire_console_back : The component that wires rest on. Insert into the wire_console_base . MAKE SURE THIS IS FLAT OR IT WILL POP OUT OF THE wire_console_base .
• card_tray : Tray that holds cards. Supports both sleeved and un-sleeved cards.
• misc_tray : Tray to store stuff that you unlock later in the game. I hope these are enough!
• misc_tray_side : This is a tray that should fit something… it goes between the card tray and side of the box. I'm kinda using it as a spacer right now, honestly.
