Voidfall miniature stands magnetic and glued

This is my take on a Voidfall miniature stands. This is awesome game, though assembling stands for the ships in the middle of the game or prior the game is annoying. Corvettes also just don't want to stay in place. I hate this part of the game, so I designed those stands to fix above problems.

• Stands for the corvettes are meant to be glued. That goes for both voidborn fleet and regular ships. You just glue it forever and store it this way. Easy! From no on when you deploy a corvette you just take a mini, place your cube in it and you're ready for a space fight. you need 52 of these (print few extra just in case).

• Magnetic stands uses 5x2 round magnets. You would need handful of those, 93 at most. Print 46 stands for a 46 ships or any lower number. I doubt you would play a 4 player game with all ships technologies and will really use all of the coolest ships miniatures in one go. Even though I actually did printed all 46 and was able to fit all of those into box no problem. You can store magnetic stands in same spaces were old stands were. Glue magnets in slots in the stands. You would also require to drill a hole in a miniature (5mm wide, 2mm deep). And then glue magnets in minis as well (don't forget that magnets polarity need to be the same for all miniatures and reverse for all the stands, that is very important).

So, I personally love my idea, but there are few nuances someone could say even few downsides. 1. You altering miniatures permanently . If corvette stands miiiight just be freed if you used thermal glue, no superglue, than drilling a hole in a miniature as you might think cannot be undone. This operations should be done with care, I don't have any responsibility for you damaging your miniatures in the process. Second downside - corvettes took massive increase in volume with the stands (not that massive as with the original one, but still), so those will take bigger comparisons in a miniatures tray and even this way - you would need to place 2 corvettes in each players tray (you need those at the setup anyway as most of the houses have exactly 2 corvette fleets at the beginning of the game). But apart form that its massively helps during the game, almost completely removing fiddling around miniatures.
