This is an insert for Star Wars: The Deckbuilding Game.

It holds both versions:

- Star Wars: The Deckbuilding Game

- Star Wars: The Deckbuilding Game - Clone Wars Edition

There are several versions of this insert. What is always important to me is functionality, and I don't see that in other versions the way I would like it to be. However, this also means that more material is used. This is a compromise, but worth it i guess. For me, the extra €6 or so for this version makes sense, as I can also use the insert on the table during the game.

All cards can be sleeved. All cards were sleeved with Gamegenic Matte Premium Sleeves, and that is how it was designed and tested.

The insert is designed so that the trays can be taken out of the box and placed on the table for play. This optimizes setup and teardown.

Special features:

I used the Jedi logo as the tracker token of power. I printed it once in gold and once in silver. Of course, you only need one, but it's convenient, and when I play Clone Wars or the base game, I don't have to take out the other token – everything belongs together.

I also designed the track itself using 3D printing. It is double-sided and printed upside down so that the surface has a nice finish, and both sides are then glued together. This gives you a track for both versions of the game.

In the 3mf file, if anyone wants to print it themselves and uses a Bambu printer, the track is already preconfigured. Otherwise, you can find the individual STL files in the list and have to assemble, color, and put them together yourself in the slicer.

Base points - damage indicator: There are also several versions of this available on various platforms. I designed my own to have the size I needed. This means that you only need one damage indicator cube per player. All the others can be stored in the filler and are never used.

All trays are marked with symbols indicating where to sort them – or it is obvious. The smaller card trays are stackable and should be printed with support. A small 0.8 mm plate is integrated underneath the trays so that they do not slip when stacked.

The insert does not cause the lid to lift.

Information:

Printing time: approx. 13 hours

Material consumption: approx. 400 grams

As always, comments and ideas for improvement are always welcome.

All files must be printed once, with the exception of the files used for the track. These must still be assembled in the slicer so that they can be printed in different colors. The damage indicators are available in English or German.

The 3mf file is included and already prepared for multicolor printing.

The longest part to print measures 201 mm. This should be possible to print on standard printers, or you can rotate the part 45 degrees in the slicer.

The whole thing was printed on a BambuLab A1. Printing takes about 13 hours with a material consumption of about 400 grams – depending on how the infill is set, whether you print with top and bottom layers, and whether you want to print the tokens as well.

EDIT:
I added a new Version of the Insert. It is prepared for the upcoming expansion (Mandalorian) and changes a few things. The Galaxy Cards still have their own card box. However because of space limitation, the other cards will now be stored into one cardbox and do not have their own tray any ore. A Ressource Tray also be stored in this card box.
Also i changed a bit the damage and force tracker boards, so that now three damage boards can be stored into the box - wit still no Lid Lift.
You can easily find the new Version because everything is named with mandalorian in the filenames.
The last 3 pictures shows the other Version.
