Astro Knights (Frosted Games)

This is an insert for Astro Knights, fresh off the press from Frosten Games

It holds:

- The base game

- Expansion: The Orion System

This is a very simple, straightforward insert, so it was the perfect fit for me to get back to designing.

There’s a base piece that goes inside the box and holds the opponent boxes. The opponent boxes contain all the components needed for the bosses, and they can also hold sleeved cards (Gamegenic Premium).

The base piece then has room for the remaining cards.

“Only” the token trays are removable. One is empty, so you can store dice for health tracking there, for example (it fits; I tested it). Dials and camouflage cards are also stored here.

I deliberately didn’t use multicolor printing here because I still had some PLA Galaxy left over, which is just right for the game and looks really nice (it doesn’t come across as nicely in the pictures).

All cards can be sleeved. All cards were sleeved with Gamegenic Matte Premium Sleeves, and that’s how it was designed and tested. You’ll need to check if your own sleeves fit, as the two card slots at the bottom aren’t very wide (92.25 mm).

The insert does not cause the lid to lift.
