Sidereal Confluence (remastered edition) + Bifurcation Expansion Insert/Organizer

Update 8/20/2025 - I added the Fusion (.f3d) files for anyone who is interested in modifying the models.
I have owned a copy of Sidereal Confluence (remastered edition) and the Bifurcation expansion for some time now. Given the prevalence of so many excellent designers and the popularity of this game, I figured someone would have made an organizer that holds both the base game and the expansion. With nothing in sight, I decided to take on the challenge.
• Designed for the remastered edition + Bifurcation expansion
• Accommodates sleeved cards (I use Sleeve Kings premium sleeves, 100 microns)
• Can be stored vertically
• The height of the base box with the insert is about 10mm taller than the height of the expansion box stacked on top of the base box (without the insert).
I designed this organizer to significantly reduce the setup time and simplify the selection and setup of each species/faction.
• There are two trays each for the resource cubes and the ship/VP tokens; they can easily be pulled out and set at different ends of the table.
• Each species/faction has their own card holder that separates the various card types to make finding things easier (see the description of the layout below); there is a cutout at the bottom of each card holder to allow for easier removal of specific sets of cards.
• All the tokens are stored in easily removeable trays at the bottom of the box.
• All card and tray slots are labelled with inset text.
Card Holders
The general layout of the card holders is as follows:
Resources and Misc. - This slot is for the species/faction starting cards (base and expansion), donation card, and the Charity Syndicate undesirable card (no card for the ZETH). For the KJAS, the Independent Nations donation card is also stored in this slot.
Base game starting cards - This slot is for the starting cards with the star icon. For Unity, the base and expansion starting cards are all stored in a single slot.
Expansion starting cards - This slot is for the starting cards with the moon icon.
Research Team / Technology I - This slot is for the species era I cards.
Research Team / Technology II - This slot is for the species era II cards.
Research Team / Technology III - This slot is for the species era III cards.
Species/Faction-specific cards - If the species/faction has specific cards, they will be included in the slots after the Research Team / Technology slots. Here is the list of slots for the various species/factions.
• KIT - Nullspace Colonies, KIT Research Teams (the Society of Falling Light and YENGII bid track cards are stored in this slot)
• CAYLION - Caylion Projects (small cards)
• FADERAN - Relic Worlds
• IM'DRIL - Fleet
• UNITY - Computer Worlds, Dice Manipulation
• YENGII - YENGII JII Constraints
The general Research Team / Technology cards are stored together with separate slots for each era. The confluence cards are stored in their own slot in this holder.
The colony cards are all stored in their own holder.
IMPORTANT: Since the card holders are not a uniform size, they need to be combined into two groups when placed in the box. Each card holder has either the letter A or B in the front lower corner. All the A-group card holders fit into a single column (in any order) and all the B-group card holders fit into another column (in any order).
Other Token Trays, Boards, and Tiles
• Each token type has a specific slot in the OtherTokens1, OtherTokens2, and Tiles_Voting trays. The storage spaces are labelled for easy identification.
• The player screens for the base game and expansion are stored in the cutout space in the OtherTokens1 tray
• The KJAS, UNITY, and KIT/ZETH reference tiles are all stored together in the Tiles_Voting tray
• The research team bid track and colony bid track boards have separate slots in the bid track holder. There is also a separate slot for the KJAS incoming donations board.
• The species boards are stored as the top layer in the box. These trays are not strictly necessary; however, they do keep the boards from sliding around and help keep the 3-resource tokens in place.
Printing
• Print two of the VP_Ship_Tokens trays, the ResourceCubes trays, and the SpeciesBoards trays.
• Print one of each of the other card holders and trays.
• I printed these using 0.2mm layer height and supports for the card holders and bid tracks holder.
• I printed the card holder for each species/faction in a different color to more easily identify them during setup.
