Inventors of the South Tigris - Insert & Organizer
Insert and Organizer for Shem's latest (at the time of this writing) hit! Inventors of the South Tigris.
This one was a doozy to make. A lot of parts, relatively limited space, and I have my standards to uphold when it comes to insert design.
Here we go:
- Sleeved Cards (Sleeve Kings North Sea supported, others not tested)
- Vertical Storage
- Faster setup and useful trays during gameplay
A few notes:
I've made some last minute updates since taking my photos, and I admit, I hadn't had a chance to play before making the insert. A few changes from when I took the photos:
- I split the 4-slot workshop tile tray to be two trays of 3-slot and 1-slot. The 1-slot can be used to hold the 9 facedown workshop tiles set during setup.
- I've created an updated version of the setup tray that allows for splitting the setup and dummy cards into two stacks.
- Don't store two white dice with each player tray, only one of each coloured dice.
That's it for changes, now onto the concessions. I don't typically like to have concessions and drawbacks to my designs, but the small coloured dice trays simply can't hold the odd number of dice per colour. This is why I opted to store one of each die per player tray.
Happy printing, and as always, feel free to reach out for any questions, comments, feedback, or a friendly hello.
Note:
Whether it's due to how my game was shipped OR due to the fact that it never had an initial insert, this square box was a lot tighter in one dimension for me than the other. It should be (and is) a 283mm x 283mm space, but one dimension required widening to put the insert in. After a bit of time, my box loosened and everything fits and comes out fine now.
