The bit trays press fit into the openings as the primary way of staying in place, but I still recommend using tape or glue to keep them from wiggling out as you repeatedly slam the lid shut.

It turns out the ribbing in the lid isn’t symmetrical, the top openings are taller than the bottom openings, so there need to be two versions of the bit tray: one for the top four spaces and one for the bottom four spaces. I’ve provided the STL files for each in the files section.

For a customizeable openSCAD model or more instructions go here: https://3dprints.electronsmith.com/bit-trays-milwaukee-packout-rolling-toolbox/

The tray uses the bit holders from Milwaukee accessory boxes, or you can make you own with my generator here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3808539
