Painting Sticks and Rack for Miniatures

This painting rack can be used when painting a large number of miniatures or even just a few. The rack holds 24 miniatures and features removable painting sticks and a easy to grip and handle.
The sockets on the rack are deep enough so the models don't rattle around when you move it.
The sticks have a 20mm platform and at 102mm in length they will help keep paint off your fingers when spraying with an air brush or rattle can if you are careful. Use the extension handle to get the paint area even farther away from your fingers when painting from top-down orientation. Attach your minis to the sticks with a bit of tape. The sticks make it easy to finely rotate the mini in your fingers which I find helps when painting things like a ring around a barrel for example.
This model may not be suitable for larger minis. I have used it to paint minis up to 50mm in height though and I works very well.
I have included two trial models for the paint stick and rack socket that you can use to scale the rack if necessary to achieve a nice fit. The sticks are not intended to fit tightly but due to seams they may seem to stick a bit and may take some break in to make them fit smoothly; slide the sticks in and out a few times to speed up the process. You could also lightly sand the ends of the sticks too. You should be able to insert or remove a paint stick with one hand.
I also created a tool to rotate the paint sticks , check it out it's handy for priming or painting minis with an airbrush or rattle can.
Note that I added the finger grips on the ends of the rack after I printed it and are not reflected in the example photo. I'm not sure if they are useful or not but it seemed like a good idea :)
I printed with 0.2mm layer height, 15% infill, no supports, and brim on the rack and extension handle. You might want to print the painting sticks a few at a time or by object just in case one of them loses adhesion.
