Onoda Custom Insert

A custom insert designed to neatly store all components of Onoda — including the miniatures add-on — while keeping the box perfectly closed with no lid-lift. Every item has its place and setup becomes faster and smoother.

The insert includes 1 large tray and 2 small trays : the large tray is divided into four compartments, and one small tray into two, for storing markers and tokens . The other small tray holds the alarm tokens . All trays are designed to be easily removed and placed directly on the table.

For card management, there are 2 dedicated trays : one for the event cards and one for the mission cards (including bonus cards), with space on top for the backpack board .

There’s also a tray for the token bag .

An insert within the insert! The small miniature box fits inside the main box and includes a tiny tray with six dedicated slots to neatly display each special miniature.

The mission cards tray and the large token tray share the same dimensions, so you can stack them as you prefer. I suggest placing the token tray on the bottom and the mission cards tray on top.

For the small trays , place the alarm token tray on the bottom and the other tray on top. This way, you can remove the small tray first, then the mission cards tray, followed by the large tray, and finally the alarm token tray. Alternatively, you can remove the token bag to access each tray directly. Note that the event cards tray and miniature box should be removed last.

Note: The miniature box is about 10 mm shorter in height than the box. I haven’t designed a filler because this gap can be used to push the board and the rulebook out, making it easier to remove both from the box.

• The event cards (75 × 105 mm) tray has a usable slot size of 78,5 × 108,5 x 35,50 mm and supports sleeves up to 60 microns (tested with Swan Panasia sleeves). There is some vertical clearance in the tray, but storing the box vertically should cause no issues with the cards.

• The mission cards (80 × 120 mm) tray has a usable slot size of 83,5 × 123,5 x 14 mm and supports sleeves up to 60 microns (tested with PYN sleeves). The vertical clearance fits the cards exactly.

Un inserto custom progettato per contenere ordinatamente tutti i componenti di Onoda — incluso l’ add-on miniature — mantenendo la scatola perfettamente chiusa senza sollevare il coperchio. Ogni elemento ha il suo posto e la preparazione diventa più veloce e fluida.

L’inserto include 1 vassoio grande e 2 vassoi piccoli : il vassoio grande è diviso in quattro scomparti, e uno dei vassoi piccoli in due, per contenere segnalini e marcatori . L’altro vassoio piccolo ospita i segnalini allarme . Tutti i vassoi sono progettati per essere facilmente rimossi e posizionati direttamente sul tavolo.

Per la gestione delle carte, ci sono 2 vassoi dedicati : uno per le carte evento e uno per le carte missione (incluse le carte bonus), con spazio sopra per la plancia zaino .

È presente anche un vassoio per il sacchetto dei segnalini .

Un inserto dentro l’inserto! La piccola scatola delle miniature si inserisce nella scatola principale e include un piccolo vassoio con sei scomparti dedicati per esporre ordinatamente ogni miniatura speciale.

Il vassoio delle carte missione e quello grande per i segnalini hanno le stesse dimensioni, quindi puoi sovrapporli come preferisci. Consiglio di mettere il vassoio dei segnalini sotto e quello delle carte missione sopra.

Per i vassoi piccoli , metti il vassoio dei segnalini allarme sotto e l’altro sopra. In questo modo puoi rimuovere prima il vassoio piccolo, poi quello delle carte missione, seguito dal vassoio grande e infine quello dei segnalini allarme. In alternativa, puoi togliere il sacchetto dei segnalini per accedere direttamente a ogni vassoio. Nota che il vassoio delle carte evento e la scatola delle miniature devono essere rimossi per ultimi.

Nota: la scatola delle miniature è più bassa di circa 10 mm rispetto alla scatola. Non ho previsto un riempitivo perché questo spazio può essere utilizzato per spingere fuori la plancia e il regolamento, facilitandone l’estrazione.

• Il vassoio delle carte evento (75 × 105 mm) ha uno scomparto utilizzabile di 78,5 × 108,5 × 35,50 mm e supporta bustine fino a 60 micron (testato con bustine Swan Panasia). C’è un po’ di spazio verticale nel vassoio, ma anche conservando la scatola in verticale non dovrebbero esserci problemi con le carte.

• Il vassoio delle carte missione (80 × 120 mm) ha uno scomparto utilizzabile di 83,5 × 123,5 × 14 mm e supporta bustine fino a 60 micron (testato con bustine PYN). Lo spazio verticale è preciso per le carte.
