Quacks of Quedlinburg boxes/ organizer / storage
Please support Mangouni by Liking/Boosting their Print on Printables.
Hi guys! ^-^
So I searched for some token boxes for the game Quacks of Quedlinburg. I found the really nice boxes in wood design on thingiverse by MrFuFu, printed one as a test and was a little unhappy because of all the supports needed (automation created 30% support for the whole print). I tried some settings but as I am just a beginner, I did not want to mess everything up. After a few prints with not so good outcome I started to make my own boxes.
You can see the result here!
•
box design with one tray (for the tokens where only one value exists)
•
box with two trays (will use it as one tray only tokens of value 1, the other tray is with the tokens 2&4. I did not like the design with three trays, the areas were to small imo)
•
lid to close the boxes
•
second lit (not stackable at all, but looks better) could be used on the upper level
The boxes are not stackable yet, you can just put them on top of each other. I was not able to figure out how to make them stackable without printing supports and still looking good. Maybe I will get an idea while working on other projects. 😊
I printed 4 boxes of each
•
4 times one tray -> white, black, purple and orange
•
4 times two tray -> yellow, red, green and blue
I printed everything in standard setting.
•
Printed with PLA
•
0.4 nozzle
•
0.2 layer height
•
filling to 10%
No supports needed!
As this design is inspired by MrFuFu, thanks to him and his great wood box design! I really love it and was happy to find a box like this I can adapt.
