Hive Board Game - Swarm bugs design

Remix of the Hive Game Derivative “Swarm” pieces available on Thingiverse. I changed the thickness of the bugs (7 mm) and the depth of the bug shape (1 mm). I also modeled the bugs without the piece, if you want to create/edit a model using these shapes or need the two files to print multicolor pieces.

The Original Game Pieces folder contains all five models needed to print the full original game. This two player game is composed of two sets of pieces. I recommand printing one in a light color (ex.: white) and the other in a dark color (ex.: black). You can also do a color change to change the color of the bug (see pictures) or paint them or let them be the color of the piece.

Print the sets following the table for the original board game:
Bugs Number of pieces needed per set

The Extension pieces folder contains all three models needed to print the extensions of the game. Add the following number of each piece per set:
Extension bugs Number of pieces needed per set
Ladybug 1
Pillbug 1
Mosquito 1

The folders MMU Original Game Pieces - Bugs and MMU Extension Pieces - Bugs contains all insects models. I'm publishing them if you need/want to put them on a new box model or whatever design you might think of or if you need them to print in multicolor. DO NOT PRINT THEM TO GLUE TO THE PIECES, THEY WILL NOT FIT.

The PrusaSlicer Saved Settings folder contains files saved in PrusaSlicer with the right number of pieces of each bugs and a prepared color change (the same as used in the pictures), you can use these files to look/change the parameters for your printer or if you have a Prusa i3 MK3/S/S+ printer you can just use the available GCODEs.

The box fits the 28 pieces (11 original + 3 extensions x 2 sets) on 4 layers of 7 pieces. The cover clips on the box so it doesn't open up while travelling. It is a bit tight, put it on and off a few times to smooth it out. I've printed mine with MMU, I'm also publishing a blank version if you want to make your own design.
