This is a galaxy frame for TI4 that has a couple functions
1) The flat version can just hold your galaxy in place (not much different than other frames you can print)
2) A tiered version which raises the galaxy towards Mecatol Rex
3) A base that can be placed below both versions that allows you to raise the galaxy off the table and give you just a little bit more space

It is also has addons featured in this collection: https://makerworld.com/collections/16364958
This includes things like:

• 4th ring for 7-8 player games

• Fracture

• Wormhole Systems

• Bins for cards

Boost Me If you find this useful, and you have a free boost token, it keeps me motivated to make more models! :)

You need to print 6 straight pieces, 6 “3 hex” pieces, and a center piece of whichever version you want. The base requires the locking star and 6 base units. Also, I suggest raising the wall count to at least 3 for the locking star since that might get some torque during use.

I have not printed the flat version and confirmed its stability on the stand, the tiered is strong enough that unless you intentionally push on the outter ring, it won't flip up. If you must have it more stable, well, glue….

If you wanted a concave version (so mecatol is sunken) rather than the tiered version provided here, I have uploaded to this project location

While working on a modification that would let the fracture work (actually harder than you'd think since the frame adds distance between each tile making the connected tiles not line up the same) I realized this would work for other attachments as well (wormhole systems, maybe cards/token holders as well).

I have uploaded the base with the notch that'll be used for these attachments, I'll upload the attachments to my profile as I get them developed, I would suggest printing this model instead of the original.

Multiple addons have now been added to https://makerworld.com/collections/16364958 and more should be coming “soon”

Edit* 12/10/2025

New version of the base that is more stackable and should take up less room in storage.

Updates to the base and locking star so the pins stick up a little more and are tapered so the pieces slide in easier, note these new items would not be compatible with the original hex frame since the 3rd ring would be too shallow. I have also updated the original hex pieces to have a taper to their circles (just is nicer in the hands this way), obviously don't have to reprint those if you don't care. Have also added an H2S print profile to print the slices as Milty slices. Note these are too large for the P1S unless you slice the model and glue it after printing, but that would have to be the users choice/effort to do that.
