Automobile In-Ground Lift 1/18 scale

Globe FSR-28 In-Ground Lift 1/18 scale. If your model cars are before 1990 then they were up on an in-ground lift. This Globe brand lift was one of the most popular and versatile lifts from the 60's through the 90's. When I finally found my 1974 Alfa Romeo GTV 2000 diecast in blue with a tan interior (my first new car!) I had to have a period correct lift to put it on. There it is in it's native environment, all 645 grams being held easily by the lift. You have to have a 55 gal drum in your shop for trash, I think it's a law.

Building:
Bolsters and pistons are directional so print one as is and one mirrored
Arms and bolsters printed with solid infill, arms printed on edge for strength and pinned with a short section of filament
Pistons printed vertically with seams at the back and a brim, 4 perimeters and cubic infill for strength
Sliders printed in vertically in vase mode
55 gal drum printed in vase mode
Nothing else requires special printing though a brim around the base is helpful to prevent lifting
Feet just glued to sliders, arms and sliders can be glued or not
STEP files for the base included so you can alter to fit your printer and display area
