### Scale

Because Zombicide tiles are not to scale there is no correct size. The train track in Undead or Alive are way too wide - and so is the train. The reason is that the cars need to be wide enough to fit a few minis. These train cars and locomotive are long enough to match the length of the train tiles. That makes the locomotive a bit short, and the cars long compared to everything else.

### Printing

I only have a 150mm bed, but the tiles are 250mm wide. To print wagons long enough I had to cut them in parts. I print the wheels of the wagons separately from the upper part to drastically reduce the number of supports needed (just one to carry the coupling). I cut off the bumpers to avoid supports, and have a cleaner look.

There is a file with the full bed (but no bumpers)

As a result, each wagon requires two different upper parts (A1/A2 and B1/B2), two set of wheels, and two bumpers. The optional cross bar goes underneath the floor between the wheels. Superglue (cyanoacrylate) puts it together. I first connect the tops, then attach the wheels and the cross bar (check fit and placement before you glue), then the bumpers.

The steam locomotive is more complicated. You can print it as one piece, but with a cheap filament printer it will need a lot of supports. You can also print it in pieces: body, wheels, rods. Be careful when gluing the wheels, to make them even in all directions, and spaced correctly for the rod to fit. Measure twice, glue once.
I cut the cow catcher off the locomotive in both cases for size and also because it is the trickiest part to print. The tender is similar to the wagons.

### WIP

This is always work in progress. Happy to get any CC. I am printing and testing everything as we play through Undead or Alive, and some of the pictures may show older versions. Minis in the pictures may be from other editions of Zombicide (in particular modern first edition)
