This is an insert for the board game "Merv: The Heart of the Silk Road".
Since the original game has basically no insert, I have decided to give the game some love and create an insert inspired to the Islamic art, similar to what is represented on the background of the lid graphics.
The insert is split into seven independent boxes, each one with its lid; the central element can be extracted from the box and used during the game, since it contains the resources.
One of the side elements is structured on two layers to accommodate both the regular and the "solo" cards (sleeved cards should fit ;)).
I have designed the insert so that when the box is closed, everything must stay in place; meaning that this insert works fine even if you store the box vertically.

Filament for the center lid is Amazon Basics copper silk, the outer lids are Elegoo sea green, and the rest is just basic white.
