Sky Team – Cockpit Upgrade & Storage Box (3D Printable Mod)

This project is a functional and aesthetic upgrade for the board game Sky Team .

I replaced the original cardboard ON/OFF tokens with 3D-printed plastic buttons that stay firmly in place on the cockpit board and no longer slide or fall off during play. The compass has also been replaced with a solid 3D-printed version for better durability and handling.

In addition, I designed a storage box shaped like an airplane ( https://makerworld.com/en/models/2178038-sky-team-airplane-storage-box#profileId-2363412 ) , made to store the remaining game components neatly and thematically.

What’s included

• 3D-printed ON/OFF buttons (replacing the cardboard ones)

• 3D-printed compass replacement

Design notes

• Fully compatible with the original Sky Team components

• Improves usability, durability, and table presence

• No changes to gameplay – only physical and aesthetic upgrades
