Replacement money tokens for Ark Nova. NOW UPDATED

The tile bases can be printed separately and the numbers filled in with coloured resin or paint.

Alternatively print the numbers, which are a tight fit into the tiles (so may not need gluing depending upon your printer tolerances). I have included two sets of numbers - one with the digits connected by a sprue (which was the only way that I could get them to print), and one where they are separate.

Alternatively combine both the bases and numbers on a printer that can handle multiple materials (mine cannot, and I find that mucking about changing filaments during a print to be a PITA).

Numbers and tiles are all best printed face-down.

I have also added two "tool sets" - punches and holders. This makes it easier to assemble the tiles with the numbers after printing, then give them a tap with a hammer to press the numbers permanently into the tiles.

There are two designs for the X tokens - one with white inserts, and one "blank". As my printer cannot handle multiple colours I'm going to try the blank ones and use a colour change on layer command. Your mileage may vary. These are as-yet untested.

Designed to be printed face-down; black tiles with recesses for the numbers, and white numbers. You could skip them and use white paint or resin; alternatively if you have a MMU you could combine the files in your slicer and have them print in two colours at once. The fit of the numbers is TIGHT - so you don't need glue. But I needed a hammer (and a punch/die set) to assemble properly. That tooling is included on the Thingiverse page. My set was printed with a 0.6mm nozzle (although for something like this I'd actually suggest using a standard 0.4mm nozzle). As 99% of my printing is inserts, the wider nozzle allows me to halve the normal print times of a 0.4mm nozzle print.
