Crokinole Disc Piece Holder

Please Read!

This holder is meant for 2 player (8 piece) or 4 player play (6 piece).

There are 2 important decisions you must make before printing this:

1: There is quite the over-hang where this attaches to the side of the board, It prints fine but leaves a semi-noticeable droop without support. I have uploaded 2 printing profiles, one without support, and one with support including and interface layer. I have used PETG and support for PLA as interface layers, both work well. I would not recommend using support without and interface layer - It would be very hard to remove from the dove tail joints I think.

2: My Crokinole board has an edge that varies from 6mm to 8mm in thickness, so I designed a stepped TPU gasket that prints separately and friction fits into the body of the holder from the bottom. The model will work just fine without this piece, it will just lean off the board a bit more and not be a snug fit. I don't think this gasket can be printed from anything else as I made it a 0mm interference fit with the part. Please either make it out of tpu or don't print it.

If you have the type of Crokinole board that is an octagon; please let me know the thickness of the sides and the distance flat to flat of the board, I will post another model for you. :)
