Barenpark Board Lightweight Game Storage Insert
Please support schleprocker by Liking/Boosting their Print on Thingiverse.
Barenpark Storage insert, based on a number of google images for inspiration.
Goals for this design:
1. light weight and low (<50g per part) filament use
2. sturdy enough for cardboard games+
3. fast organization for setup
4. speed of print
Print settings for results shown in pictures:
1. 0.28 mm layer height (CHeP magic number height)
2. 0 top layers
3. 0 bottom layers
4. 18% fast honeycomb infill (or similar pattern up to you)
5. 2 shells, extrusion width 0.48 mm. Walls are designed exactly at 0.96mm (2x shells)
Result:
10-30g per tray, 30mins-1hr per tray, ~136grams for all trays. YMMV based on your print speeds. I aim for no higher than 60mm/sec, outline and infill speeds at 80% of that.
For the tile holder:
Very thin 1 extrusion width wall at 0.48mm. This turns out plenty strong for this use, just don't be a brute while handling. The internal walls might be a tad too high for 'finger access', please remix if it makes you mad! (I can't remember if I already did this)
If my design works for you, please consider buying me a coffee (preferably a beer!)
