Lost Ruins of Arnak: Cover for Temple Tile Tray

This is a cover for the temple tile tray posted by Biofarmar for the board game Lost Ruins of Arnak. The cover fits snugly into the tile slots so that the tray can also double as the storage container when put away in the box. The side view shows how the flanges slide into the tile slots of the tray: the flange for 11-point tiles slides into the back of the slot, and the flanges for the 6- and 2-point tiles slide into the fronts of the slots. The cover has not been fully seated in the side view image.

(By the way - wife did all of the painting and decoration of the temple tile tray...)

The cover was printed Arnak-logo-side down. I did two filament swaps, inserting the gold layer between layers of the sandstone.

How I Designed This

The cover was designed in Fusion 360. To create the Arnak logo, an image was downloaded from the web, converted to black and white, and edited with Gimp. The black and white image was then converted to a .SVG file using Inkscape and imported into Fusion 360 for extrusion. The final model in Fusion 360 was exported as a .STL file into MeshMixer.
