HeroQuest (2021) Nice and flat character dashboard

I was looking for a character dashboard for HeroQuest 2021 to organize cards and track stats. It had to be as compact as possible while remaining highly functional during the game. The most functional dashboards proved to be too large, often featuring roller-type counters and protruding parts. On the other hand, the most compact ones made compromises by omitting card holders or counters.

I found a dashboard by WhiteTiger007 , and it was nearly perfect, but it wouldn’t be sufficient for the later stages of the game. Additionally, it could benefit from minor usability improvements. I remixed it by making the following changes:

• Added stat descriptions/icons next to the counters.

• Mirrored card slots from right to left, making it completely symmetrical and allowing for better card management in later stages of the game.

In my games I use slots as following:

• Designated top slots for spells and abilities.

• Assigned left slots for weapons, armor, tools, and artifacts.

• Reserved right slots for consumables like potions and scrolls.

As with the original model:

• Track your stats and gold using the wheels at the bottom.

• Flip through cards and spells to choose one.

• Flip over a spell card in its slot after casting it.

• When not in use, it stacks compactly for easy storage.
