Flatiron boardgame insert by Max_Headroom MakerWorld: Download Free 3D Models

A wonderful insert but not designed for sleeved cards.

==>If you have printed the other insert and want to change over to this one, all you need to do it print x6 of the flatiron cards.stl.

==>Otherwise, if you haven't printed anything, I created a 3MF that has the necessary pieces to make the my remix insert. It uses the following original pieces: 2 triangle pieces, 2 large trays, and 2 large base risers (I suggest the base risers to be printed at 99% -I have them at 100% and they were very tight the first few times in the box, and still are snug but ok…it has to be adjusted to 99% on the plate in BambooStudio). The 3MF removes all the card pieces as well as the large cubic piece in the original model, and replaces it with one card holder that needs to be printed x6. You can see how they are stacked. The sleeves are 60 micron sleeve kings.

Put the 2 cubic spacers on the bottom (same as original), then you can see what is one top in my picture (2 stacks of 3 layers of card sleeve trays, next to to the large trays, with the triangle pieces on the end). Then on top of that, the player boards stackec across the top, the then 2 card boards and 2 rule sets. It comes straight to the top (same as the original design).

I use a bag to hold the newspaper tokens, but they can also be put in the large tray loose as well. I put the meeples and the cubes in one of the trays as well. I store vertically, and it has no problems with any movement inside the box.

I wanted to give a shout out to the original designer for the cool triangular pieces as well as the way oversized (but totally cool) trays which I printed in the colors that were suggested.
