Aeon's End Expedition Expansion Insert

Inserts Free
Model Description

I designed an Aeon's End insert. New to Aeon's End, I wasn't sure what to expect with Expeditions.

Lo and behold, big ole envelopes. So I designed this to be a "traveling" insert as I plan to make my way through on Expedition Expansions. I have been working on another design to help consolidate cards and components in less boxes. So in total, I'll have 3 different inserts that will work in conjunction to:

  • Hold base game/cards and components and hold a bunch of mages and nemeses
  • Hold the Expedition envelopes and components as you make your way through them (I also plan to store future Expedition envelopes under the current one I'm on as there's definitely room for 3 expansions worth of envelopes.
  • Hold more cards and components more efficiently than the (original) base game insert.

Anyhow, I printed this out and ended up overhauling the measurements. It seems the expansion boxes are about 2mm smaller than the Aeon's End 2nd Edition base box. So use these resized card holders vs the one from the original (base) insert.

I realized that the Expedition Expansions had extra large envelopes to hide everything. I wanted to space an insert to leave the large envelopes in place. And yes I went a little overboard with the component trays, but never hurts to have more storage than needed, especially because you don't know what you'll be unlocking as you play.

TLDR: Print everything like the file names say Only print Component Tray A or B as they take the same space, just what you prefer is what you should print There's an extra component tray (w/lid) that sits sideways. If you don't want to print that, print the spacer as minimal (or 0) top bottom layers and minimal infill.
