Marvel United Organizer (Retail Collector)
Please support That Lucas by Liking/Boosting their Print on Printables.
I just loved Stinkfoot71's Base Box organizer ( https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4824613 ). But his designed encompassed organization if you had a boatload of the Kickstarter heroes and villains. Unfortunately, didn't accommodate the regular collector like myself that picked up a couple copies I bought on retail.
It does require that you have two base boxes. The examples shown is the Marvel United set from Walmart that came with an extra Venom figure, the X-Men set I picked up at Target and a Spider-verse collection that came with bonus Dr. Strange figure that I got from Amazon. All in all, it fit everything and had room for more if I happen to pick up another base or expansion in the future.
TLDR: Basically, need two base sets. Print all the parts of all the files (see pics). Simple Card Divider optional.
HEROES BOX:
the base box, is Stinkfoot71's design, I didn't do other than I resized it to have no box lift (I wasn't going to print character dividers and to use more of the useful space of the box as it was a few mm's short.
VILLIANS BOX:
The villain box, I used Stinkfoot71's villain box and location box and resized the height and length as the base box. The rest of the pieces I design to accommodate the "where do I store my villains when I don't have a big Thano's Glove" as he had in his KS design. So I worked up a design to house the villains and the villain board.
The villain box will left me room in case I get another base or expansion in the future. It does house the villain board on the top. Honestly, as there's a gap, I put my challenge cards and mission cards to mind the gap to prevent it from bowing. Otherwise, I added an extra storage box where you could also house those cards.
Lastly, the bottom spacer is just to lift the storage boxes to be flush with the villain card storage box. It also makes a great space to house extra pieces from having multiple base sets.
CARD DIVIDERS:
I created these so I can easily look through the characters. Not necessary other than that.
Category: 3D Printing
RETAIL COLLECTORS!!! (non-Kickstarter boxes) Need two base boxes but can fit both bases and smaller expansions (I haven't filled it, but there's plenty of room for more expansions).
