Orichalcum Insert / Organizer

This is an insert / organizer for Orichalcum. It has no lid lift, supports premium sleeves (Gamegenic Prime shown in the photos), supports vertical storage, and was designed to aid setup and teardown.

Here are a few features:

• Trays that hold the buildings and creatures bags, and do not need to be removed from the box during setup. Just grab the bags and you are set.

• Two trays for gold and hoplites, one for each end of the table.

• Space for the first printing’s metal victory point/first player marker.

• Removable victory point and pyramid tile holders, so they can be placed directly on the table.

• A terrain tile tray that can be placed on the table during play.

• A setup tray that can be returned to the box after setup.

As shown in the photos, this was designed with the Pandasaurus version of the game. I understand that in some markets, the publishers may have released an additional player board for the solo mode. I designed this insert to make it easy to add room for that board. It should only require removing a few millimeters from the bottoms of two trays (the setup tray and the tray that holds the victory point and pyramid tiles). Since I don’t have that expansion, I have not made this modification yet. But it should be fairly straightforward to modify and reprint only those two trays if that expansion is released in my area.

The images show how to layer everything in the box, as well as providing closer images of some of the trays. To achieve the insert as shown, print the quantities shown in the file names (e.g., print 2 of the gold and hoplite trays that have “x2” in the name) and one of everything that doesn’t list a quantity.

Everything prints without supports and fits on a Prusa MK3S+ or MK4 print bed (250 x 210 mm). I printed the trays in the photos with PLA, 15% infill, with a 0.2 mm layer height.

I have included the original OpenSCAD files in case anyone wants to improve on the design for non-commercial purposes.
