Better Wyrmspan Resources

Wyrmspan is a 1-5 player game from Stonemaier Games where you build and explore a cavernous sanctuary for dragons, based partially on the popular game Wingspan.

I have created 3d printable versions of the 4 resource types for the game:

• meat/steak

• milk bottle

• gold bar

• crystal

These are intended to be printed in different colors of PLA and if you can, you should pause the meat print at two points to switch between a white filament and red filament for best effect. I've included gcode with the color changes for Prusa i3 MK3S+.

I designed these models to be printed with 0.2mm layer height and with a 0.4mm nozzle diameter in PLA. The one exception is that the Asymmetrical Crystal alternative model works better with 0.1mm layer height to reduce the jump in the tiers on the top edge of the crystal. Be sure to move on of the sides of the crystal to be flat on the print bed.

• Gold_v2 - CC3D Silk Gold PLA

• Asymmetrical Crystal - Ziro PLA Pro Translucent Blue (original crystal is symmetrical)

The models were all created from scratch in Autodesk Fusion 360. Please share your makes of the models so I can see how they came out for you.

Check out these amazing weighted coins model by tstansell that is already available. Their model, which includes inserting pennies mid-print, is better than what I could come up with for the silver coins. The wooden speckled eggs that come with the game do not need to be improved IMHO. Same with the wooden explorer and guild crest.

Updates:

• New model of the Gold Bar to v2 which feels more appropriate in terms of size when compared with the other resources

• Asymmetrical Crystal added

• Milk_v2 with adjusted size (112.5% bigger than original) and printed in white & clear
