DM Screen Initiative Trackers
Please support Ivan Urbánek by Liking/Boosting their Print on Printables.
Nice looking customisable initiative trackers for tabletop RPG games such as D&D or Pathfinder.
You will need 2 things to prepare your ribbon trackers
• Prusa Slicer 2.6
• Printer that can change filament mid print (This can be sort of circumvented by embossing the text and using Sharpie)
The markers are printed flat and bent at the end.
• Insert the model into slicer
• Add negative volume > text and edit so it cuts at least 0.6 mm deep into the tracker ribbon
• Set filament change before the last 2 or 3 layers
• Print, changing the filament for the last few layers
Now you'll need to bend them. There are 2 simple options, one is using hairdryer - heating only the middle part, the other is using the heated printbed - first unstick the prints before heating the bed again to soften them. Then fold them over twice the thickness of the screen you want to use them on so they are later free to slide on it. You can use water to cool them faster once you have the shape set.
PLA is best for this due to low melting temperature.
