Shadow Moon Syndicates Insert / Organizer

This is an insert / organizer for the Shadow Moon Syndicates board game with the Illicit Company expansion, High Roller upgrade kit, and player dashboards. This keeps the original cardboard insert but adds parts to organize the components and keep the game board and player dashboards from sliding around in the box. The insert does not add lid lift. This insert probably will not work with sleeved cards since sleeved cards likely won't fit in the original insert card wells.

The insert is designed to accelerate setup. The token tray can be set directly on the table. A player tray can be handed to each player and contains all the player's tokens needed at the start of the game.

The pictures should make it clear how the insert should be used. The bag holds all of the operation tokens and is stored where player aids were originally stored in the cardboard insert. The 5 player trays form the bottom layer of the large well in the original cardboard insert. The token tray is the next layer on top of the player trays. The player dashboards are laid across the token tray with the spacer tray next to the dashboards, locking them in place. The game board is placed on top of the spacer tray, also locked into place by the spacer tray.

Here's a detailed walkthrough of each model:

You need to print 5 of these, one for each player. It holds the 16 influence tokens and 1 petty crime token for a player color. Because this model doesn't have structural walls like a typical token box, the base can be prone to bending more than usual. When printing this model I increased the number of bottom layers in the slicer so the lower 2mm had 100% infill to combat this. Note this custom print setup is not strictly necessary but does help make it more rigid at the cost of a little more filament and print time. I recommend printing a single copy of this tray with whatever settings you like and test it out for yourself before printing the remaining player trays.

The token tray holds the 1K, 3K, and 10K kredit tokens, 5 red minor frames, 2 yellow major frames, and all of the status tokens. This is designed to be set directly on the table so players can pull tokens from it during gameplay.

This holds tokens needed for setup such as player aids, first player token, round marker, etc. It also locks the player dashboards and game board in place to keep them from sliding around in the box. The round marker and first player marker each can be extracted by pushing on one end of the marker to tip it out.

The make in the pictures was printed with Prusament Galaxy Black PLA with a 0.4mm nozzle at 0.2mm layer height. All models were printed with 10% Lightning infill. I increased the number of bottom layers specifically for the player trays so the 2mm base printed at 100% infill to add some strength.
