Kanban EV Insert / Organizer

This is an insert / organizer for Kanban EV. It also holds the Speedcharger expansion and the metal cars if you swap them out for the wooden ones. It supports vertical storage, premium sleeves (Dragon Shield and Gamegenic Prime shown in the photos), has no lid lift, and was designed to aid setup and teardown.

Here are some other features of the insert.

• Setup trays are separated from in-game trays. Setup trays can be returned to the box after setup, while in-game trays are designed to go directly on the table during play.

• In-game trays are collectively the same length as the game board and align along the right side of it, serving as an extension of the board. The video below has more details on this.

• The car parts tray is arranged in the same orientation as the warehouse on the board, making it easy to grab the parts you need to fill the warehouse.

• Individual player trays you can hand to each player to set up their player boards.

• Lidded compartment on the cars tray to hide the Speedcharger tokens that are removed from the game at lower player counts. The underside of the lid tells you how many tokens to use at each player count.

• Separate solo tray.

• Small trays to hold the resources you acquire during a round, which you can then move to your player board at the end of the round.

To achieve the insert as shown, print four of the player trays and the player temporary goods trays, and print one of everything else. The images show how to layer everything in the box. I have provided the original SCAD files in case anyone would like to make improvements for non-commercial purposes.
