Paleo token holder that fits the original insert
Please support Nanaki by Liking/Boosting their Print on Printables.
The differences from the original (which was also a remix) https://www.printables.com/model/109070-paleo-gameboard-version-for-two-18x18-dice
•
The trays are shrunk so that they fit into the original base game cardboard insert.
•
An outer box has been designed from scratch to fit the new sized trays
•
The token symbols are now sunk in instead of being extruded (this is my personal preference)
•
Holder 3 (dice and resource toxens) has been redesigned from scratch as the original had too many irregularities in my opinion (see one of the pictures)
The original models had issues such as weirdly angled faces, or visible inaccurate cuts and general loss of quality on the stl export, but it was still faster to just cut them up.
Some issues with the original files are visible when you run a boolean operation check on imported "Token Holder 4 (Shape)" but in the end I managed to make them disappear by cutting some things away earlier in the process.
I'm uploading the freecad file with the entire workflow (original stl files are embedded) and the resulting step files.
