Cosmoctopus Box Insert

This is a box insert for Cosmoctopus designed to keep all the components organised in the box and make setup faster.

The tentacle shaped vacuum form tray that came with the kickstarter edition sadly wasn't very good – it's hard to get the tokens out, and there's no good way to fit it in the box. So unfortunately it didn't survive the insert creation process.

The card tray has a separate slot for the first contact cards, to avoid them getting shuffled into the devotee deck.

The lid fits both the resource trays and the tentacle tray. It's an optional print if you don't store your games vertically. I printed it with 15% infill and no top or bottom layers to get the effect in the photo.

The inky realm tiles are designed to be split into the 8 basic tiles and the 4 special tiles, to speed up setup.

The rulebook (and extra kickstarter paper materials) fit nicely in the space on the shorter insert pieces, if you store the cards and the tentacles at one end of the box.

The filename for each file specifies how many of each need to be printed.

This insert will definitely not fit sleeved cards. But it should work with both the kickstarter and retail editions of the game.
