I was always amazed when someone was able to create something for an existing product that makes it even greater. Box inserts for several Ticket To Ride board games (US, Europe, Nordic, etc) already exist including tons of awesome ticket holders, train holders, trays that were made by innovative fans. Thanks goes out to You for the inspiration for this project!

Meanwhile -as of today- for the latest published version Ticket to Ride Legacy: Legends of the West (2023) i found both a few pay-to-get and also free models, that specifically designed for this version, but i found none of them actually met my expectations, so i crafted my own version for myself.

As new and new ideas came and added, i decided to share it with You, once it considered became finished.

It was a fun journey designing it, without any prior, good CAD knowledge.

Beside the three weeks of trial and error in my free time, i wasted at least an extra kg of filament, but i have to say, it was well worth it.

Important note before printing:
Map case (Plate 06) will cause a 3mm lift within the main box, so you'll not be able to close it 100%.

There is not enough space to reduce its height further, unless dropping some feature, so i am keeping this as it is.

Plate 07. Card Plate (1 of 2) (1x139g)
Plate 08. Card Plate (2 of 2) (1x155g)
- In-game holder for trains, stocks, shares, events etc.
- These two is recommended to be joined together with some adhesive.

Plate 09-13. Player Board (5x326g)
- 5 for the tickets
- 7 for the trains
- 1 for the shares
- 1 for the character
- 1 for the Stock papers
- Coin container
- Train container (see Plate 03.)
Note1 : I recommend not moving it away from its position, as it takes as little as 0.1mm move to any direction to receive an error message that it is out of printing boundaries or moving it over the bed exclusion area.

Note2 : Plates 09 through 13 are the exact same models, added each for the print calculations.

- Following Bambu Studio calculations, over 0,85 km length of material is required to print this project.
- In total time it takes a little over 5 days.
