Too Many Bones: Gearloc Storage Tray Lids

These are sliding lids to accompany the Gearloc storage trays for the board game Too Many Bones. The storage trays have been posted separately at: https://www.printables.com/model/511137-too-many-bones-gearloc-storage-trays.

Each Gearloc has its own customized tray lid.

The lids latch into place on one side of the tray and will not slide off on their own. To release the latch, gentle pressure is applied at the open end which pushes out the latch point on the side. The tray then easily slides forward (see photo). The trays have a second set of slide rails on the bottom so that the lid can be put underneath out of the way when the tray is in use during the game (see photo).

Notes:

Extensive tuning of the slicer settings were done in advance to get the transparent filament to print as clearly as possible. The lids were printed face down on a Creality carborundum glass plate to make the tops nice and smooth and improve the transparency.
