Brass Birmingham Insert Premium Organizer 1.2.0

A premium insert for fast setup, smart organization, and full 3D-printed components.

A brass-toned finish gives a subtle nod to the name, even though there’s no real brass inside — just a lot of love for this amazing game. I built this because I couldn't find a logical and beautiful insert that could hold all 3D-printed premium resources properly. This design focuses on fast setup , durable fit , premium materials , and smooth table presence .

Key Features:

• Organized for ultra-fast setup : no fiddling, just lift and play

• Card holders go directly onto the board, matching the printed card piles

• Iron and coal trays fit exactly onto the board grids and lift over seamlessly

• Coin trays split into two for better reachability on both sides of the table

• Merchant tiles sorted by player count for quick game prep

• Spacer added between coins and player boards for easy box access

• Fits full 3D-printed premium components : iron, coal, barrels, trains, and barges

• Designed for vertical storage (recommended to use elastic bands due to the slim box)

Important notes:

• As a deliberate design tradeoff to maintain a clean and logical layout, the insert has a 1.5 mm lid lift. See images

• This insert is designed for the retail edition of Brass: Birmingham — not the deluxe edition.

• Layer height: 0.2 mm (adaptive layer height used for a smoother finish)

• Base insert color: PLA Matte Caramel

• Top layers ("brass" finish), iron tokens, trains, barges: PLA Metal Iridium Gold Metallic

• Purple player color: PLA Matte Lilac Purple

• Grey player color: PLA Matte Ash Grey

• Yellow player color: PLA Matte Lemon Yellow

• Red player color: PLA Matte Terracotta

• Coal resources and train/barge loads: PLA Matte Charcoal

Changes:

• Added an alternate coal and iron holder, that have internal slopes, as well as a joined lid that matches straight to the board.

Changes:

• Made a Moedas coins holder modification, so it holds 41 coins instead of 40

Non-breaking update

Changes:

• Adjusted the last 1 mm of the metal coins holder to use metallic filament, matching the rest of the insert

• Added an additional print plate for the Moedas coins holder

No fit or compatibility changes. Existing prints remain valid.
