About the Game
Ridolfo's bitter tone forced me to address once again the encroaching army. The tide of battle-hardened mercenaries had occupied the Tiber valley in a matter of days. Such brutal efficiency, was fitting for Pier Luigi Farnese, the Pope's own bastard son. The bleak reality was in front of everyone: we had already lost the war, with barely a fight.
1540 Salt War is a short, third party campaign for Forbidden Psalm set during the 1540 salt war between the city of Perugia and Pope Paul III. A minor squabble with barely any mention in history books. It requires a copy of Forbidden Psalm to play.
The campaign includes:
Rules for Enemy units. War in the 16th century is a personal affair. Enemies cooperate and will evolve depending on what happens on the battlefield. Five scenarios hold together by historical events. Feel the weight of defeat against the Pope's army, and exact your vengeance.
