Using LayerUp

You can browse the 3D models and game catalog for free without an account. Creating an account is also free and lets you sync your BGG board games, design a Game Shelf, plan your prints, track your sleeves, log plays, upload print photos and comments, and submit and request 3D models.

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. You’re responsible for activity on your account, so keep your sign-in details secure.

What you post

Everything you add stays yours: photos, shelves, notes, plays, and submissions. By posting it, you give LayerUp permission to store it and display it on the site to the people you’ve chosen to share it with. Public content, such as print photos, may also appear in link previews when someone shares a LayerUp page.

Only post content you have the right to share. Any photos you upload should be photos you’ve taken yourself.

Keep it friendly

Please don’t:

• Harass, threaten, or demean anyone.
• Post spam or advertisements disguised as regular posts.
• Post illegal, sexual, or violent content.
• Pass off someone else’s photos or files as your own.
• Try to break or overload the site.

We may remove content that violates these rules and close accounts that repeatedly violate them.

3D models and their designers

LayerUp catalogs 3D models and links to them; it doesn’t host the model files. The files are hosted on the designer’s page on Printables, MakerWorld, Thingiverse, Cults3D, or another site.

Each model is subject to the license listed on its designer’s page. Check that license before printing, remixing, or selling the model or anything made from it.

If you designed a model and would like its listing removed from LayerUp, contact us to remove it.

Games, names, and box art

Game names, box art, and logos belong to their respective publishers and designers. LayerUp displays them to help you find and organize your games and claims no ownership of them.

If you own the rights to something displayed here and would like it changed or removed, please contact us.

Links to other sites

Sites linked from LayerUp have their own terms of use.

Some store links are affiliate links. As an Amazon Associate, LayerUp Games earns from qualifying purchases. Purchases through these links cost you nothing extra and help keep the site running.

Deleting your account

To request deletion of your account and its contents, email hello@layerup.games from the email address associated with your account.

You can also delete your own print photos at any time from the relevant print’s page.

No guarantees

LayerUp is built by one person and maintained by two people and is provided “as is.” We work hard to keep it accurate and running smoothly, but we can’t guarantee that every listing is correct, every link works, or the site will always be available. Measure your box before printing an insert.

To the extent permitted by law, LayerUp Games and VisualSpool LLC are not liable for losses resulting from your use of the site.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change, we'll update the date at the top of this page. By continuing to use the site after a change, you agree to the updated terms.
