About the Game

Build the best pyramids on your side of the Nile in Ancient Egypt!

A River in Egypt is a 2 or 3 player linear territory game, where players compete to build the best collection of pyramids using Looney Pyramids. Using gameplay similar to Schotten Totten, players build the most impressive sets of pyramids on their side of the river, choosing where to allocate their pyramids.

The game uses 3 trios in five colors, and can be played with Pyramid Arcade. Players will also need a bag or bowl to randomly draw the pieces from. Players hands are always limited to one large, one medium, and one small pyramid, and when they play a pyramid they must replace it with another pyramid of the same size. A player wins when they either have claimed three adjacent river segments, or 5 out of the 9 total river segments.

A River in Egypt was released as part of the 321 trilogy of pyramid games.
