About the Game
In À l'heure pour le goûter, you place colored dominos to create and race across a park and reach the ice cream truck first.
On each turn, the path grows longer as a new domino is added by matching colors. The color of the last space indicates which space the playing piece must move to next; players must spot the next available matching space and advance their character. Play continues in this manner until a piece reaches the truck and wins the race.
The ice cream truck is placed on the path when one of the drawn is emptied. The first one to reach it wins.
The traditional dots found on dominoes have been replaced by colors, making it easier for younger children to identify how the pieces connect. The game offers children as young as five an introduction to tile-laying mechanics.
