About the Game
New Guinea, 1942, and the American 126th and 128th Infantry Regiments, 32nd Infantry Division are up against it. Fighting alongside the Australian 18th Brigade they faced not only oppressive heat humidity and insects but also disease, as malaria and dengue swept through their ranks (accounting for twice as many casualties as were lost in battle). Let's not forget their reason for being in New Guinea... to wrestle control of the Pacific island from the heavily entrenched Japanese. In this package: 18 map panels (17x11 inches each) depicting historical terrain 11 scenarios A Battlefield Walkaround with module-specific rules 2 half-sheets of Japanese personnel, weapons and AFVs
Players will need to have at-hand their ATS rulebook and charts as well as US Army and Commonwealth Army personnel, weapons and vehicles (Bren Carriers and Stuart I tanks)
