About the Game

Absolute Monarch:The long awaited addition to the Absolute Emperor rules system.

Here players can use the mechanics they are familiar with in fight major battles of the Seven Years' War. Everything you like about AE is here, but with tweaks to promote the use of linear tactics of the period. Additionally, there is a sub-set of rules for fighting the American War of Independance. You get the core rules, where the maneuver units are brigades regiments, the AWI variant taylored for smaller battles and difficult terrain, and top-down silhouettes to allow new gamers to the period to try the game prior to buying miniatures. There is a QRS as well. Unlike Absolute Emperor, the formatting is design for key word recognition, ease of concept comprehension, graphic representations of important rules, and easy to remember combat adjudication.
