About the Game

The early inland mail routes in Alaska were often formed by using sled dogs to haul the mail in remote and often dangerous conditions across the vast landscape of Alaska. The teams in this game are in a competition to develop these mail routes from one side of Alaska to the other.

This is a fixed partnership, may-follow trick taker that uses dominoes and features a checkerboard. The game is played over the course of a single hand consisting of 11 dominoes per player. Players will play out tricks and determine which special action they are allowed based on where they finish in the trick. Clever teamwork to maximize points on trick scoring and board points will determine the winner.
