About the Game

Algebrew is a quick deduction card game using just 18 cards. In the game, you are baristas experimenting with ingredients to create the café’s next signature blend. Getting the right values and clever guessing will help you reach the target flavor and win the game…Or maybe you’ll get lucky!

The goal is to have a sum of cards equal to the target number.

Set up the game with one card facing you (Ingredient card) and one card facing the others (Habit card). Reveal 1 card as the target blend.

On your turn, do 1-2 different actions, in any order:

Pour - draw 1 card from the deck or someone with 2 or more Ingredient cards Spill - discard 1 Ingredient card (possibly changing the target) Test - reveal all your Ingredient cards and let the players check if your hand's sum (Ingredients+Habit)is equal to the target. If yes, you win a point. Shuffle the cards, then do another round. If not, they must tell you if it's over or under the target (giving you an idea of your Habit card).

If the deck runs out, the closest sum (positive or negative) to the last target scores a point. Tied players score a point each.

Play until someone scores 2 points or until ties are broken.
