About the Game

The game board is an cone-shaped island with eight balls on top of the cone. This is connected by cords to eight boats on the outer periphery of the island and located some distance away.

Each player takes three men of one color and puts them on three separate boats. At the start, there is a maximum of two men on one boat.

After determining the starting player using a dice roll, the starting player then throws a dice to decide the number of moves, clockwise or anticlockwise, any one of his men on the boat may move. During play no more than three men can be on one boat.

The player then pulls one of the balls on the island to reel the boat in. If the boat pulled to shore contains the player's own man, then he puts that man on the island and pulls the boat out again. If the place on the island contains an opponent's man, then the men are exchanged and the boat pulled out again. The rules apply for various combinations of men on the boat versus men already on the island space.

The objective of the game is to be the first player to get three men ashore.
