Alpaga Fiesta 2024

It’s party time for the alpacas! The more they dance, the more mixed up their wool gets! Be the quickest player in Alpaca Fiesta to identify the right colours. But watch out for the naughty sheep trying to gatecrash the party!

The player who does the best alpaca impression starts the game. If you are the first player, turn over the top card of your stack and put it in the middle of the table. From now on, players need to look at the alpacas on top of the other players’ stacks. Check if the colour of the yarn on the card in the middle of the table can be made by mixing the colours of at least 2 of the visible alpacas. If your alpaca can be used to make this colour, put your hand on the yarn in the middle of the table as quickly as possible. If the colour cannot be made from the visible alpacas, the next player (in clockwise order) turns over the top card of their stack and puts it in the middle of the table.

If you are the slowest to put your hand on the yarn card, you must pick up all the cards in the middle of the table and put them at the bottom of your stack (yarn side up). If 1 (or more) player(s) mistakenly puts their hand on the yarn card, the first player to do so picks up the pile of cards.

If you pick up the cards in the middle of the table, you start the next round. Turn over the card on top of your stack and put it in the middle of the table.

The game ends when all but 2 players have revealed a party time card. For example, in a 5-player game, the game ends when 3 party time cards have been revealed. The remaining players count the number of yarn cards they have picked up during the game. The player who has picked up the fewest yarn cards during the game is declared the winner.
