About the Game

The humans are gone — and now the animals want to be in charge. Gather your allies, collect their favorite things, and win the hearts of the farm to claim leadership!

Animal Farm is a set-collection party game focused on chaining combos and triggering powerful effects. Less about tight strategy, more about the satisfying pop of a well-timed combo and a flood of points.

Each player is dealt 2 cards. Six cards are placed in the center of the table in a cross-shaped layout: 2 cards on the top and bottom, 1 card on the left and right. On your turn, take 2 cards from the center — but only cards that are connected to each other. Place them face-up in front of you. Whenever you complete a set of 3 matching cards, you receive a cube of that set's color, then score and trigger that set's ability — multiplied by the number of cubes of that color you currently hold. At the end of your turn, you may spend any number of cubes to convert them into points — one set's worth of points per cube spent. The game ends when any player reaches 30 points. All other players take one final turn, then scores are compared.

Stacking one animal type multiplies both points and abilities — a player holding 3 Dog cubes who completes another Dog set gains a 4th cube, scores 4 points, and draws 4 cards. But going all-in on one color is risky, since the Chicken's ability lets opponents drain your cubes. Knowing when to cash out and when to keep stacking is the key to victory.
