About the Game
Annihil-8 is a game for a standard 52 card deck. In Annihil-8 you are a hacker decrypting and destroying a cybersecurity system. The system is protecting 16 Caches. With the help of 8 bits of your own Rogue Data, you must manipulate the system itself to annihilate its own security to unlock all Caches in order to win. The game ends when there are no more valid moves to make. If you have unlocked all Caches and you have injected all of your Rogue Data into the system, then you win.
On a turn, you must choose a Stack to move Data from. Take all faceup cards in the Stack and drop them off one by one onto adjacent Stacks in orthogonal sequence (similar to games like Five Tribes and Mancala). The Final card placed must be either on a Stack with no Data, or onto a Stack that will Annihilate all Data.
Data Annihilates Data if all Data in the Stack matches suit, rank, or if it forms a run of ascending/descending ranks.
Before moving Data, you may place one of your Rogue Data cards from your hand.
