Aqualuma "The 6 Heroes" is a free bonus expansion provided by the publisher "Spiel Das!" on their website (and shared here on BoardGameGeek).
It expands the cooperative dice-placement game Aqualuma with a narrative layer, without requiring any additional components beyond the base game.
Across six story-driven chapters, players explore the backstory of the Aqualuma heroes and learn how the crew first came together before facing the spreading darkness. Each chapter focuses on one character and introduces a thematically tailored scenario with new objectives and small rule adjustments, while using only the components of the Aqualuma base game.
This story Mode builds on the core gameplay of Aqualuma -combining magical abilities, cooperative dice placement, and the shared goal of collecting and activating the light globes across the underwater worlds — adding narrative depth and variety while remaining fully accessible and easy to integrate.
