About the Game

Strange things are happening in the city of Arkham: people are once again disappearing from the streets, and vile creatures have been seen lurking on the outskirts. A team of investigators must be assembled to confront these unnatural phenomena and attempt to stop the awakening of the ancient gods.

Arkham Codex is a solo card game played with 54 cards, where the player must collect enough sets to defeat an ancient deity from beyond.

The player must complete all three sets (The City, The Cult, The Gate), each containing 6 cards that meet the requirements and limitations of that set. If all three sets are stable and finished at the end of the round, the player defeats the ancient god and wins the game.

If at any time two Sets become unstable, and by the end of the following round the player still has two unstable Sets, the player immediately loses the game. If the ancient god awakens and the main deck must be reshuffled again, the game ends immediately in defeat. If a third set in The Void must be started, the player instantly loses.
