About the Game

Issue game of Wargame Japanese History #21.

The game covers the campaign of Sakanoue no Tamuramaro against the Eastern Barbarian, Emishi (in 8th century). Aterui was the most famous leader of the Eastern Barbarian. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aterui

One B3 size map 140 counters 8 pages rulebook 30 cards

The game uses a modified card-driven system. The standard scenario is 12 turns long, and one turn represents 2 years. The card can be used either of 1: conducting march, 2: trying to influence the barbarian clan or 3: getting supply in barren land.
