About the Game

2 Player Variant for Martin Wallace's Automobile. Includes 6 tiles and a rule sheet. Released with Mayfair Games' Limited Edition Promo Expansion Set #6

Starting The Game

Each player receives 6 RD cubes. Place character tiles into an opaque bag or container and mix them. *Draw 2 character tiles and place these tiles on their character tiles in the character boxes. These characters are out of play for the first round. Next, draw 2 more character tiles, placing them on the empty space in the turn track box. These characters will be out of play the following round. Set aside the salesman pieces of 1 color; these will be neutral. Place 1 advertisement marker (white) on each of the first 2 spaces. Place 2 discount markers (gray) on the first gray space and 1 on the second space. The third spaces will not be used in this variant (you can cover these with a factory from an unused color.) Remove 2 “5” value and 1 “4” value demand tiles from the game.

P2: Select Characters

You may not select characters that have a character tile currently on them.

P3: Player Actions

II: Place Salesman

When you place your salesman you must place 1 neutral salesman, in addition to your allowed pieces, in 1 of the same showrooms that you occupied with this action.

P5: Sell Cars Via Salesman

When it comes to your turn and you have decided to sell a car or pass, you must move one of the neutral pieces to 1 of the sales tracks to the left. Before being moved to the sales track a neutral salesman can be moved up or down a maximum of 1 segment.

P9: End of Turn

Remove the character tiles from the character boxes and return them into the opaque bag or container. Move the 2 character tiles in the turn track box onto the appropriate character boxes; these characters are now out of play for this round. Draw 2 new character tiles, and place these on the empty space in the turn track box. Each player places 1 closed factory marker onto the first open space beyond their farthest factory built.
